Problem Volume on New TouchFLO Upgrade for HTC Touch Elfin Original Ship ROM WM6.1

Everytime when I receive phone call, my volume will be 0, I need to slide up to increase the volume. I just up new ROM from HTC website : TouchFLO Upgrade for HTC Touch Elfin Original Ship ROM WM6.1 from HTC

Do you guys have the same problem with this issue??

Supemakka, can you provide the link from where u downloaded the original rom for elfin. In case it is no proctical for you can u give me the details like serial no etc. All this in case u don't mind.:(

You'll have to search for the HTC Volume Control CAB for the Opal device - in the M2D thread (Development and Hacking subforum).

Otherwise, Onyx 4.2 has the fix for this.

here is a working soln from anoher forum..I tried this in my Elfin and voila works fine,

Have a look in the registry at HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/InCall
Key: InitVol

Now the, default should be 5. If it lower than that set it to that. If it is at 5 crank it up to no more than 10 and see if that works for you.

By default mine was in 2, I changed it to 10, now wenever I make a cal or receive, the volume slider is in full..also I tried changing all InitVol(In known categories) to 5, this has made my ringing volume to the highest..try it out.
