View Full Version : WM6.1 - Won't wake up properly

Hi Guys,

I am using WM6.1 ROM 3.34.721.2 WWE (OS and Radio) and HardSPL 3.29. I am finding that when the device is in sleep mode and I press the power button to wake it up, it will wake up for a split second and then immediately go back to sleep mode. If I then press the power button again, it will wake up and stay on.

Has anyone else come across this before? I would appreciate any help because this is driving me crazy.

I have exactly the same problem

As far as i know, it is a feature builtin in wm6.1 to avoid accidental switch ON.
The latest Hyperdragon ROMS , SJ has removed that feature i think.
Give a try.

the one called new htc english rom 3.34.721.2
any ways the rom also took for ages when switching to landscape mode so its a rom thing...

this thread is gonna be closed quicker then u can say: moderator!

Hmmm, thread still open! :D

Anyway, just wanted to suggest: Go through the registry and see if you can find any settings related to the power / power off - have at the moment no Kaiser, got a good offer, so, looking to buy me a new one but I doubt you will wait for an answer until then! ;)

agreed to many people not searching properly, and not knowing the thread rules, its getting messy in this forum due to all the repeated threads. when i have a rom question i post in that roms thread!

I did search, and I didn't post it in the ROM's thread because there was nothing telling me it was a ROM specific issue!

rselva_kr: Thanks, i will check those out. It only seems to happen every now and then, not every time though.

Junner2003: Thanks for the advice. I will have a dig in the registry and see if i can find anything.
