So unfortunately there is something of a problem. But it probably has to do with the ROM-Radio combination. When I use my bluetooth headset I have the famous problem of losing sound after the first call.

The following radio's have this problem:
1.65.24.36
1.65.29.22
1.70.18.02
1.70.19.09
1.71.09.01

I'm still trying to find the lucky one for me. If anybody has some advice; let me know!

I'm still using 1.65.16.25 without any problems:
- fast GPS fix
- Good reception here in Afrika (same as nokia phones)

I do need to mention I do not use bluetooth headset. So can not check that problem...

Maybe some help from others?

Tnx, tested it today, everything seems to run smooth, except the battery is getting low very fast when calling or using the music player. Ik have the same radio rom as you have.

I must admit I do not call much from Africa with my dutch phone (2 euro's/min :() but I have it turned on all day to receive sms and stuff. About 20% battery drain in 24 hrs...will of course be higher if I use more functions.

And I'm not an expert but I can imagine M2D is more powerconsuming then the 'static' htc home... But I would never use my kaiser again without M2D: Nobelprize for the persons who made it!! :D

btw: you can try using advanced config 3.3 (cooked in) to adjust power settings. I did not change them because it's often a compromize with performence

I'm curious to hear other people's experience on powerconsumption!

Ok, I also use the advanced config , I suppose you have the light turned of after a couple of minutes?

The level of brightness on battery is set to almost as low as possible. Will do some tests tomorrow to see what's consuming lots of battery.

This rom is looking good and nice to have it back in dutch again. The only serious problem I encountered is the phone reception. To often (not always) I only received a message I missed a phone call. I tried both 1.65.24.36 and 1.71.09.01. I didn't had this problem with other roms (HyperDragon III for example). Any other people who noticed this as well?

I've tried almost every radio out there. With most I head excellent phone and GPS reception, but my bluetooth problem remained unaffected. I tried reflashing mutiple times. I've had this rom for two days, but I didn't notice any power drain problems.

My headset is a must for me so I had to switch back to another rom, unfortunately.... If anybody gets it to work, please let me know, because I love this rom.

I havent flashed this rom yet (now using PDA Corner V10)
1.65.16.25 comes with one of the latest official htc roms, and works fine for me, including BT. Also fast track with gps, and a pretty good battery life.
Im awaiting more respons from people b4 flashing again. The V10 is one of the best and fastest manilla roms around...

That is the one I use also....but again can not test the bluetooth as I do not have a headset. For me the rom is still pretty good (fast en stable) :)

Bluetooth carkit isn't woking. I've no sound.
When I get an incomming call, I only get a message on the display that ther is a incomming call (or that I missed one) Somtimes I've a ringtone for 1 or 2 seconds.

These are the versions that I use:
Radio: 1.65.24.36
Protocol: 25.94.40.06H

After one night My phone wasn't fully recharged. I get a feeling that it's charged but the display shows only 40%.

Indeed.... I just found out about the ringtone issue...I have it too :mad:
Gonna look into it but it will be a a tough job.
If somebody has a sollution please share......

EDIT:

Figured it out already....much quicker then I expected :D

Cause: MS Voice Command Package (will be removed in future release)
Solution: In settings (instellingen) -> Voice Command, untick 'phone' or totally disable voice command!

This solves the ringtone issue, maybe even the bluetooth issue as that is also part of the 'phone' voice command options.
please give me feedback on this as I cannot test bluetooth issue....

I read on the forum more people have bluetooth issues with 'new' roms...
One more option is to play with the bluetooth settings in Advanced Config 3.3
I read somewhere that turning off 'joint stereo' solves some problems...

After the third fresh install my camera still doesn,t work. Something like:can't get frames from camera or something. I used the newbee cook guide and the rest seems to work fine. Did you do something special to get it work?

Ben helaas helemaal geswitched naar de Touch Pro en heb dus ook geen kaiser meer om roms die ik maak op te testen...en dat is erg onhandig dus helaas zal het bij deze versie blijven. Mochten er mensen switchen naar de Touch Pro dan zijn er vele nieuwe versies van de M-Rom te vinden....
