I am still a bit confused since I know that ETEN and also MWg do not make their own hardware. Is it possible that those devices are also made by HTC? It looks anyway that there is no other HARDWARE MANUFACTURER for Windows Mobile based handsets.
I've googled and searched but couldn't find any detailed information on who is making the hardware.

Dunno about MWg, but ETEN (now Acer) DO actually make their own hardware.

Hmmm, interesting!
The MWg Zinc II looks damn exactly like the ETEN GLOFISH M750 and M850 - except for the missing hardware softkeys underneath the screen. Booth have identically qwerty keyboards - also the symbols on that keyboards are arranged in the exact same illogical way ... !

I am also wondering who is the manufacturer of the MWg Zinc II. I found this here: http://www.wmexperts.com/articles/rumors/windows_mobile_7_device_by_the.html:)

Those keyboards don't look particularly identical to me... But even if they are, all that really shows is that they share a parts supplier.
It IS relatively common for hardware companies to farm out the actual assembly of their hardware to 3rd parties. Hell, look at all of Apple's hardware as a perfect example of that. But would you say an iPhone is made by Apple, or some third party contractor in China somewhere?

I've got the Zinc II, Wondering if its the same as any other devices, it hard to fine it listed in many websites or support forums
I'm looking to get a registry hack similar to the kaiser to speed up keyboard response, and to shut off LED coverage indicator.
Thanks
