I've created a software to activate my french external keyboard after flashing a rom (for example).

It works well with WizFlo and CR86 for me.

I've haded many countries listed here :

The whole set of rom produced here is for QWERTY keyboard. A french keyboard is AZERTY and so when you tap A on the keyboard a Q is printed on the screen.

This soft enable the localised keyboard....

I suppose that you didn't soft reset the phone... I've tried it and if you reset you phone by pressing the reset button with yout stylus, your previous languague keyboard is kept.
You must reset your phone by pressing 5 seconds the power button on top of the phone and tap "reset" and the new value is ok at reboot.

At least, it's working like that on my wizard/CR86 ;-)

WOW! I guess you learn something every day. I though that pressing the reset button with the stylus WAS a soft reset. I didn't know that pressing the power button for 5 secs did anything.
I winder if that's where I've been going wrong with other registry settings.

it is not working,i have installed the cab in my system.how and what do i do from there on.i went to keyboard layout and changed it to 0407 from 0409 but nothing happened after softreset.

After "running" the .cab, the soft is installed in \program files\WizKB

Open file explorer, go into that folder on your wizard and run WizKB.exe. Select you external keyboard in the combobox, tap Ok and accept the soft reset...

That should work.

Thanks for your work, you made a belgian french Wizard user happy...lol

try to use Belgian, but i've tried many things before and it doesn't worked...so hard reset, install immediatly on Xda2V2 6.5 in standard french and it worked perfectly.
