in my rom it is sym.0407.txt but the bug was in the registry in HKCU and it was not the layout settings in HKCU, now all fine :D

Great ROM!

But:
TT7 works without problems.
IGO8 seems to stop bluetooth-connection. So it doesn't find a GPS-Receiver.
Never had this problem with other ROMS

I had BT problems with some ROMs having disconnections with my Audi MMI but I thought they were sorted out with the latest WM6.1 ROMs :confused:

Tried it also but don´t work for me. I´m using the XDA-Team version. Maybe it doesn´t work because of the differnces in the languages. The items and pictures of M2D are appearing on the phone but no the menus.

I also use the xda-dev version. The reason for not displaying any text is, that the german countrycode (soratas rom is german) is "407". The textfiles for an english rom are named with the english country code "409".
You have to rename the mui files in the windows directory from *409*.mui to *407*.mui. Then the text appears ;-)

And if you download the german mui files from the manilla thread and rename them in *407* also, your manilla text will be german ;-)

some registry changes for internet explorer mobile, before u start updating ur ROM enter in PIE: about:version scroll down and u see what i mean (switch it to de-DE), i removed MortSkript and edit/remove some bad settings for storage locations in Adv.Config, added some cab's to PreConfig e.g. File Explorer Extension and change windows live to an older version with hotmail sync function

i checked inet, the xml file, basically everything but i keep getting: "konnte keine daten für ausgewählte stadt laden"
is it just me?

so i think its only ur device, weather sync works fine on my hermes i've changed in v1.6 the name in the weather-list for dusseldorf to düsseldorf but that can't be the problem of syncing weather-data

i don't know why, try an other ruuwrapper or is ur hermes unloacked ? what OS is running on ur pc ? if it's vista u can't flash u need a pc running xp...

from somwhere here on the forum i dont know exactly where.

Device must be in bootloader mode to update with devcon

# Start a cmd shell (hold Win-Key and press R, then type cmd and hit Enter)
# type C:&CD\USBUpd
# then type devcon update wceusbsh.inf "USB\Vid_0BB4&Pid_00CE"
# you'll be told whether the exchange of your bootloader drivers were successful or not
# now better delete this directory as devcon can seriously harm your system if used mistakenly

after this flashing under Vista (x32) are no problem.

after a short period of testing, I realized that my device is freezing randomly. Also it loses GSM-connection and/or is not able to wake up from Flight-mode, or jumps into flightmode by itself.


I'm not sure wheter this error depends on rom or on device.

i am using your htc home v1.8 Rom together with radio v1.54.30.10. i am unable to get a gsm connection in places i could connect to gsm with other roms. 3g works though. any ideas?

edit: its not the roms fault but my providers. gsm is locked where umts is fully available. though i think i was able to switch when my sim was new.

after a short period of testing, I realized that my device is freezing randomly. Also it loses GSM-connection and/or is not able to wake up from Flight-mode, or jumps into flightmode by itself.


I'm not sure wheter this error depends on rom or on device.

any ideas?

hmm i had no problems with freezing or something else... what version r have on ur device ?

just wanna to say thank you very much!
a great bugless german manila rom. (so far) works fine without any modifikations. i had a lot of problems in the past with adding contacts and programms, read/write threaded sms with other "german" roms and manila integrated.. thx again

habe mir 2 gebrauchte hermes zugelegt und würde gerne WM6 drauf haben (egal welche WM 6 version), habe jedoch absolut keine erfahrung, wie ich sowas drauf flashen kann und vor allem, welche ROM ich nutzen sollte.

Kannst du mir da ein wenig unter die Arme greifen?!

bought 2 already-used hermes devices and would like to have WM 6 on it (doesn't matter, which version), but i have no experience with flashing a ROM and also i have no idea which ROM to use.
