This TOOL allows to change the font of the device,

Well it does look similar but I see a few differences also, like no import or done keys at the bottom and the file sizes are different. Anyway aside from the controversy I can report that this does work perfectly on my Diamond.

Thank you for sharing. However, I can't seem to get it to work properly on my HTC Touch. I want to increase the text size, particularly in my text messages. But I can't seem to find the right/appropriate value. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, me too nor manila font, but I,m happy with what it does change, in the past I found some font changes can have issues with menus and pop ups which with this seems to work OK with the parameters that can be set.:)

maybe he picked up also sipchange.exe, maybe he with resourche hack help, he changed some images into forms, and hided some buttons (seconds deay to apply new sip...) , and maybe he wrote inside "luigi.ing copyrights!", maybe, but maybe I'm wrong about, Only I know that all ahis apps are builded into .NET, only sipchange was compiled with c++ compiler, like changesip original, but maybe I'm wrong.....

and for me:
I analyzed his last rom based on 20924 rom, I found inside:
xip was from 20269 rom (oldiest!)
nk.exe was the 1.96 version and not 1,97 (the last!)
all drivers are 1.93 version (oldiest) and no 1.97 (last)
into initflashfiles.dat, I can see with happyness that he use my packagecreator, thanks, luigi!
and don't want to see what inside into sys\ folder......

well you might be right and it would be a shame but the fact is...nuefont doesnt work properly in my Polaris and this works perfectly,so at least that he managed to do well on is own. :)

IIRC, it's 900, 800, 800. That is for QVGA. I'm not sure if it's the same on VGA devices or not.

I've an HTC Touch Pro, I'm trying to use the program but fonts results too small, although I change dimensions to 900, 1000, 1100... they remain small, especially in Programs and Preferences windows from Start Menu. How can I RESTORE the original fonts? What are the original fonts parameters? I tried uninstalling the sw but new fonts (too small!) remains... Thanks to helpers!

This kinda works but kinda doesnt on my Fuze, it puts some comic book style font for my start bar even tho I have it all set to Hall Fetica, also the bottom bat doesnt change at all.

So with all the font options set to Hall Fetica, the top start bar and bottom bar dont show Hll Fetica, the top one is some random font and the bottom is unchanged but the rest of the things seem to work ok.

So I really cant use it because all my font are different when the point is to make them all the same heh.

Nice one! It doesn't change the Today screen font though. Another thing I'm missing is the preview, that would be handy!

It also doesn't change the font in my clock/alarm settings.
Before I used SamuelT Settings+ to change fonts, that one worked better though.
Could you improve the program because I don't want to use the Settings+ anymore because that would mean I use 3 different tweaking programs...

You can manually start it by going into your windows folder (explorer). Search for the ING Change Font.exe
Copy the file and create a shortcut in the start menu/programs folder to place the icon (shortcut) in your programs.

But you could also try to reinstall the program, that might be better...

For some reason it seems to be incompatible with my i780 mobile. I tryed to uninstall and reinstall, but no shortcut...
I installed the nuefont cab, and it works great, correctly linking the shortcut.

I had the same problem. I fixed the start menu/bar problem by re-importing my font, even though the app recognized that i had that font installed already. the bottom bar still remains unchanged though.

Looks like some people are having issues with this - I just wanted to say the method of re-adding the fonts to the program works. The only thing I still can't figure out is font in the bottom menu bar.

Here is some proof (http://img178.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=81340_systemfonts_122_154lo.jpg) that it does work, at least for changing the top menu bar font. Helvetica is my favourite but doesn't look great on QVGA.


Edit: No offense, but I just tried nueFont (http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueFont.aspx) and it works a lot better on the Omnia. It changes more of the fonts, including the bottom bars with SegoeUI font. And that one doesn't come with a bunch of extra fonts which are really hard to delete if you don't want them. Just my opinion.

I'm looking for a bit of clarification on some of the font size settings... Perhaps luigi.ing would be kind enough to expand on this if he's still around?

Font System - From what I can tell, this changes the font size of system soft key menus (bottom left and right).
Font Menu - This appears to control the Start menu fonts; but does it only change those of something else as well?
Font PopUp - This one is pretty straight forward, but just to be clear; this only changes the text size of the message in the popup, not the button font as well, right?
Font OOM - Uh.... What does this do?

If anyone could clarify or expand on these, I would be extremely grateful... Thanks.

I thought they were pretty much identical? They have the same layout, change the same settings, etc. In fact, I seem to remember people argueing that one person stole the other's program because they were so similar... Lol. But hey, how boring would life be without some variety?

I dunno... all I know is I tried ING Change Font on my Omnia and it didn't change many of the fonts and then I tried and had more success with nueFonts. When I got my HD2 I just went straight to nueFonts.

Although I should say even nueFonts doesn't seem to change all or nearly all the fonts. What I do is install the fonts from one of the CABs on here (like a CAB that automatically changes my font to, say SegoeUI) and then use nueFonts to make the size right since the CABs make the default font size really tiny and have absolutely no interface to allow you to change it.

The CABs manage to change more of the fonts but get the sizes wrong, so I use the CABs in conjunction with nueFonts for optimal results. :D

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't believe any of these tools change the TF3D font.

At least, all the tools I tried did not change TF's font even though I changed all four font options.

It should work, but if you are using WM6.5 then take a look at these CABs (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532633). They work best of any font changing method I've found, at least for 6.5 and above.
