Hi XDA maniacs...Last night I was surfing the net... and i saw a forum for Windows XP tips and tricks and they was celebrated their 8 or 7 aniversary... and now Im asking to you.... MIKECHANNON??? FLAR??? i guess all the Mods has this answers....

When does XDA Developers begins on the web? exact date... to celebrate the aniversary...

Where does the server is?

Who is the very first admin that creates the forum?

Yes that´s right men, we make a party for everything, just see our national caendar, I´m sure there is no other country with so many "Fiestas" on it

Let´s wait to hear from Mods & Admin to know the date of the celebration!

No, there is one more that i know of. He's not in orange but has admin status and i think his name was Perter Poelman.

Found a nice little sentence that still holds up on that old XDA page:

So unless anyone comes up with the correct earlier date.

But it can probably be traced even further.

It may be around the third week in January 2003. BUT that's not confirmed yet - we're waiting a reply from Admin on the precise date.

The server is in Holland.

Peter Poelman (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=218065) one of the founders and still around today as is Itsme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=218387) (with the coveted Developer / Moderator rank), albeit that they are not active on a day to day basis, but still responsible for the site. I believe, but I stand to be corrected, that FLAR our current Admin, was brought in by the likes of Peter to take over day to day Admin when he and others took a back seat and had to spend more time running the parent company.


Whatever the date, the Membership will be required to donate towards bottles of Bubbly for the Mods. (If you like, you can also donate to the Psychiatric fund that takes care of Admin staff when they retire in a state of utter mental breakdown)
