Touch Flow 3D Hack Wanted

I have the new HTC Fuze phone. AT&T has an icon on the main slider bar, how can I get my own icon on that bar? According to the manual "You cannot replace a slot in the AT&T tab with another program", so makes it seem it is not just a registry entry or config file somewhere.

I have an app that when running is in the system tray on the today screen, but with the flow 3d enabled I can't get to it and bring it up. I have to turn off flow 3d.

I'm sure there is someone out there that can give some sort of direction.

I think it is baked into the manila.exe for the choices of the menu. I guess I will have to just live with adding apps to the Programs section, just wanted a quicker method.
