Best Lite ROM for rookie

I have never flashed an unofficial ROM to my phone before, but I am looking for one that is lighter than the HTC official ROM, but also stable and one that is easy to install. What would anyone recommend?

because this thread will probably be closed veery soon, I'd like to say hi to everyone in the Diamond forum, just got my Diamond yesterday, ditched the Kiser :) and very much looking to Android for Diamond :)
