problem flashing from SD card

Don t know what happened but I have been unable to flash any roms onto my trinity for over a month now on my Vista computer. It used to work fine and I have flashed my trinity on my vista computer (after following the instructions) many times.

I even borrowed a laptop computer with windows XP and installed active sync to do a boot loader recovery. then tried to flash the trinity with a new rom on the laptop and it still dont work.

My last resort was to use the flashing from SD card (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Trinity_SDCardFlashing) method as provided by the wiki.

When when I am in the boot loader and inserts my SD card thas has been prepared as per the instructions, I only have the SPLASH1 & SPLASH2 on the screen. Where the sample picture provided on the wiki clearly has more

is it the rom that I have that is the problem and not compatible? I'm trying to go back to a non vanilla rom and selected 317iTNYSTD as the rom to put onto my phone.

My phone is currently running g77's ROM.

My boot loader screen says
