Forgive me if this is redundant or otherwise inciting of the ire of everyone... I have spent far too many hours on search and just plain reading this site looking for information on Tom Tom. I found the .cab for the program, however I have been unable to find where to download the vaunted "one free map" from Tom Tom's site or here.
I realize other maps in general are illegal to post for download, I am only interested in obtaining the "trial / free" map so I can check out the buzz on this GPS software for my AT&T Tilt. The closest things I could find on this site was some commentary saying that Tom Tom no longer offers maps for the United States or something similar. On their site there is no reference I could find to lead me to any such "free" map available. Then also saw a comment that if you download and install Tom Tom Home for your PC, you can download US maps, but it didn't clarify if this applied also to the "free" map.
Thank you for bearing with me on this issue, whether posted correctly or not or if this has been answered numerous times. I just felt that spending over 5 hours on this site was a little much...LOL... especially for coming up empty handed.
