HTC Touch e-mail button not working

Hello,

My HTC Touch from Bell works just fine. I have the factory ROM.

My e-mail and SMS buttons on the home screen do not work. I try pressing them and it just doesn't do anything. Everything else works fine. I've tried searching the forums but nothing similar seems to have happened to other people.

This happened to me once before (2-3 months ago) and a hard reset fixed everything but I want to know if someone was able to solve this problem in a different way.

I didn't drop the phone or anything like that. I just woke up and the 2 buttons on the Home screen weren't working.

I have had the same trouble and I asked here at post #2589.

Answer came from blasev as follows;

"the answer is : do not move default today tab".
