Hi guys, I know the format and location (My Device/Application Data/HTC/AudioManager/playlists) of where the HTC audio manager stores its playlists..
but how can I get the software to recognise new playlists without needing to restart the phone?

I'm essentially sick and tired of uploading music to the phone and realising that I forgot to put a playlist with it. Using a 3rd party playlist manager mandates that I:
a) need to manually add each file in an album to a playlist,
b) need to reset the phone.

Being a soft. eng student, I can probably hack together a playlist making program that resides on the phone, but I need a method to get these playlists recognised without a soft reset.

Appreciate your replies guys.

I think if you go into the library in AudioManager, it should search for the new playlists. If that doesn't work, try closing AudioManager in a task manager, and then restart it.
