Sorry,I'm learning English.
I mean I have used many nike radio,include 1.58.16.27,1.58.21.23,1.58.25.14,1.64.06.04,1.64.0 8.21,1.65.24.36,1.71.09.01,there are useless.And I have upgraded or degraded my rom,2rd camea still can't word.

Reg editor
HKLM
Software
HTC
Camera
SDK
SupportSecondCamera change to 2 or 3 havent tried any other values, both works for me. (it was set to 1)

i dont know if its related (still could be dodgy hardware) but i updated the hard spl to 1.22 in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2786065&postcount=439 from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355730 and my front camera is back.. for how long lol, i do not know..

give it a try, let me know if it makes a difference

I had the "old" 1.22 hardspl and kept loosing the front camera after a while too... Most of the time I didnt even noticed because I dont use it at all.
Now I have this one (and didnt even had to hard-reset the device), working on the clean black rom v1. :)

ok, i tried with new hardspl bur nothing. then i tried updating with the new official wwe rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464176 and i recovered at least primary camera...

i'm tempted to call HTC assistance but i'm afraid they will keep my device for a month or more... :-(

are you sure you updated the spl right? (power on device while holding in camera to double check the version).. what radio version have you got? try 1.71.09.01K radio and a compatible rom, like the newest lilly (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2698900&postcount=3) or clean black rom.

im convinced its nothing more than a conflict between spl, radio and rom versions.

You can download radions on the sticky of the "nike upgrading" area on this forum.
Be sure that the one you are downloading is the right one for you rom (check your rom post) and backup before upgrading/downgrading radio.
If you dont know what any of this is, please read the wiki, manual or first post of any of the topics.

To check your hardspl, press the power and camera (without releasing) at the same time you reset your machine.
To leave, simply reset.

BTW, the radio im on (at the above mentioned rom) is 1.64.08.21_25.74.40.02K

I tried this fix, but it gave me an error after pressing 'Install':

update failure,camera version is 5_06_31844_00>= 5_06_30084_02(not validity camera vesion)
