{idea} Xbox 360 Notification Bubbles

Just an idea I came up with while playing the game! When you get a emaill or somthing , a little xbox 360 notification bubble pops up.

This would be a cool idea. As an xbox owner, I think the notification system is awesome. I don't think its possible in WM for some reason. Maybe someone with more experience (and an xbox) could tell us.

I think it is possible because "all" things are possible through the .net framework. if I'm not mistaken I believe the xbox dashboard is written in a .net framework variant.

read up on windows new feature called "Live Mesh"

that would be awsome and I already have messages pop up on my phone whenever I get a new txt or email. It came along with that FEwidgets which in my opion with alittle reskinning prolly could be a xbox dashboard looking program. IN my opinion its the best program that I have downloaded to my phone. It uses the net framework 3.5 and flashplayer 7 to run gives you complete today screen custimization drag and drop whatever widgets you want. One of them happens to be a floating notifaction bubble that pops up where ever you dropped it. There is also a page changer which gives you 4 different pages to drop stuff on. Not many widgets yet for it but I found that with a bit of poking around you can link most programs to the shortcut button which you can drop around as many times as you want and most of them will display a tiny image of what it is so yeah I would take a look at that and see about reskinning the widgets to a xbox based theme. I dunno but the FEwidgets is located lower in down in this forum. Later everyone :D

i think its just a matter of customizing the notification bubble we all have now on our devices.

i mean theoretically thats what we have now with our notifications, just needs a little tweaking.

i feel like a child with that shit..its frustrating..since the release ive played 360 3 or 4 times..

i stick with my PS3..at least there u have the option of upgrades..and not forced to do so with so many bugs awaiting u.

see thats why I am thinking that if FEwidgets can be reskinned then all you really need to do is grab the notification bubble out of it tweak it around and slip it right back in maybe just give it that tailed bubble look or somethin and then you just stick it where you want it so its just not popping up along the bottom I turned my regualar notfications off once I got FEwidgets figured out I just left it to buzz still but the bubble dont pop up from the bottom anymore its just randomly around my screen now haha well where ever I randomly dropped it at I guess but yeah.

maybe I will work on setting some xbox themed back grounds on my elfin to see how it looks im not really to dev smart so that may be the limit to my help on this but hey wallpapers are nice. Though I prolly do it the most low tech way stretch and skew tell it fits in paint haha. I resized my computers wallpaper and it looks pretty nice on the phone. So I will give it a shot.

Andriod does something similar.. It'll scroll along the top of you get any messages. Hope WM gets some kind of facelift in 6.5.

Very nice. This may be possible with ultimate launcher, then you could use your finger to swipe threw the different screens. :cool:

I actually like the new update for the 360. Everything is a lot slicker and easier to access. As for the avatar guy, you only see him on the one screen. It's not like Pop Up Video and he just keep showing up in random corners of the screen or something.

is there any way to get an xbox 360 friends list on XDA Ignito so it will operate like the weather tab. so all you have to do is log in your xbox account and it gives you your friends list of who is online and doing what also the ability to send and recieve messages would also be good. then all you have to do is goto the tab and press update to get it refreshed.
