Avatar Issues...

Is there something going on with avatars right now that I don't know about? Everytime I try to replace mine (via direct url or upload), it just stretches the old avatar out like taffy instead of replacing it. I finally gave up and just deleted my avatar altogether. I don't know if it makes a diff, but I use Opera 9.62beta on my pc, although I've never had probs with xda on any browser prior to today. Anyone?

sometimes this happens. For example my avatar is a protoss dark templar with his blade. Sometimes the whole avatar will get disappeared and the only part visible is the blade and nothing else.
