Youtube player buffers extremely slow

Hi all,

I have this strange issue with the Youtube app on my Diamond. I posted about this in Dutty's thread and though it seems I am not the only one, no solution is knowd yet.

Here's the deal:
When I set the settings to HIGH QUALITY in the Settings dialog in the youtube app, buffering is extremely slow, it buffers with 1% intervals. I am using a high speed H network connection, and in the past I remember it would buffer with intervals of about 25-30%.

I tried different radio roms, different cooked roms (incl. stock rom/stock radio), nothing helps. It's not the locations because all other internet apps have fast internet.

Anyone knows about this? I'm kind of stuck here ;)

+1 here! I'm using the Dutch T-Mobile with Web&Walk 1mbps internet and I have to say, that i'm indeed not satisfied with the YouTube app...

I personally think it's not the ROM or Radio, but the app itsself...

one day I compared my Youtube app with a good friend of mine with his..(Apple Iphone:confused:) and his was faster, eventhough his internet is crap speed....:mad: about 256 kb

Anyone out here who knows about this and knows how this can be fixed?

Jeroen: I finally decided to give customer support from T-Mobile a call, and guess what; they somehow downgraded me from web-n-walk plus to the normal web-n-walk. :mad:

EDIT: I contacted T-Mobile about my W&W and they confirmed it was still W&W plus....very weird....neway I have to deal with it I think....Could be my ROM now AZTOR V7...
