I think that the camera sucks in the diamond. All pictures blurry as soon as the object u taking a picture on moves just a little bit. So my question is, can i change the shutter speed on the camera?

I went into advanced options on the camera application and set it to "Super Fine" and it looks a lot better.

here a quicktip from german forum:

Go into registry

HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Captparam/

and set

CapKeyDelayTime = 15 (old=1500)

CaptureTimer = 50 (old=5000)

and it may be better.

This works very fine on my O2 Diamond with german ROM.

i see very minimal difference. Up close still focuses just fine. Why aren't these values there by default? I have a feeling it has to do with stability, although I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

nice find.

Anything for the poor video quality if you move the cam?

can someone provide step by step instructions to get to the registry so I can try this out. I really want to get my camera working without blurring.

just to let you all know, if you use Sport or Burst mode, changing the CaptureTimer to equal 50 will cause both modes to crash when used (and actually freeze up the phone, requiring a soft reset). I haven't played around with changing 5000 to any other values (other than 0), so anyone with time is free to test out which value is stable.
