Diamond & Spb Mobile Shell (Auto Backlight)

I have deselected the auto backlight feature , but i have noticed that with using SPB Mobile Shell on the Diamond (which i find really awesome) , it sometimes gets ticked automatically ...

anybody know how i can overcome this issue ?
