everytime i'm starting the download it's interrupting after 4 or 5 minutes, if possible please share it thru another site, i even tried to download it from HTC but the file i downloaded to be corrupted

However, I have bought my Viva from Syria, and it came with the 1.26.488.2 WWE ROM, dated 19/9/08.
The device is Arabic-enabled, with a built-in Arabic keyboard, but the UI is English.

I don't understand the difference between this ROM and the one you're posting about!
Do you think I'd benefit from upgrading my ROM? Because I don't want to go through all the hustle for nothing.

P.S.: Do you know a specific place to get some Viva accessories in Syria? I'm desperate to find a USB-to-3.5mm headphone jack!

nice, i have the same ROM 1.26.488.2 WWE, but its not arabic enabled. if i recieve any text message in arabic comes out with square boxes. there is always a requirement.

i had got my HTC in UAE, any clues where can i download the same rom to do a backup. i want to upgrade my rom to WM6.5 and test it. but would love to have to office ROM in backup incase there is any issue.
