Touch selection problem - Windows 6.1 ROM

I am facing this unique problem after i upgraded to official Windows 6.1 ROM.
Whenever i am in explorer/ Programs and I want to select a certain entry I hit the screen, the page scrolls rather than the entry getting selected.
I am earlier ROM (Windows 6.0) i had no such problems.

I have performed the screen orientation several number of times, but even after that it is the same.

Is there some setting that will prevent this behavior?

I too have the same prob..it hapens in all scrollable screens, like sms list, contacts etc., any fix???

I've tried some PDAVIET wm 6.1 rom and...

the latest rom that works fine with my elfin is TOUCH WM6.1 ROM V60 (BLUE & BLACK VERSION) - Build 20758.1.4.1 (Manila2D) (http://www.pdaviet.net/showthread.php?t=35849):


After v62 all the roms are "build" on RUU_Elfin_hTC_Asia_India_3.07.720.03_4.1.13.71_03. 34.90_BLUE_Ship
and I think that this is the problem...

maby it's a hardware (touch screen) problem?
maby the latest wm6.1 rom are more touch sensitive than the previous one?

I've found two solution in my search resoults.
The first is Changing touch.dll at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2888346&highlight=butter#post2888346
The second one is to change the pagehigh and pagelow value in registry http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2888073&postcount=78 .
I've only tried the second one without changing the touch.dll file, and it works fine!!

Changing simply touch.dll will not work, you'll need to change Biotouch.dll as well because sometimes you'll get random program shutdowns while scrolling (another butter finger issue). The latest Onyx ROM for 6.1 has the fix already.

All the new ROMs all have the fix for this.
You can try to dig down and search for the onyx xda thread.
