Hey all,

Before I start just about every tech blog links to this site for WM info, wonderful :) I want to ask if anybody uses an inexpensive physical folding keyboard for the touch, exactly like the kind people use on palm pdas? You can just stuff it in a messenger bag or something and I really need one. I can't use the touch on screen for typing forum posts when I'm at the library or whatever, but I never carry a laptop because the phone does everything I need. Bluetooth, usb, any type of folding keyboard would be great. Thanks all. I'm sure HP has a bluetooth one but some people have said it didn't work with WM6, only WM5.

I use the i-go stowaway keyboard. unfortunately, its discontinued, but you can probably find it somewhere. On i-go's site the drivers are available, but none for the elf. I used a driver from an htc wizard, and it works. The battery life on this keyboard is amazing. ive been using it for a year and a half and battery life is still "normal".

^how stupid can I be? I saw one on ebay for 40 used, but I thought it wasn't compatible with the touch so I skipped it and now it's gone. Thanks though i'll try to keep an eye out for that one!

yeah. Try to read reviews to find out if its compatible. I bought mine for 50. When downloading drivers the elf wasnt there, and i even contacted support. and they said it doesnt work, and will never work. So i grabbed the driver from the HTC wizard, i dont know why, it worked.
