I need help setting up e-mail with hotmail with this rom. I have the latest WLM installed from the installation guide made by a member of this forum, but every time I go to complete the email set-up it hangs after hinting next.


Before I installed WLM, I would get "Help with Windows Live.. Select the link below to access your windows live hotmail account"

After I installed WLM, I would get "settings found for hotmail.com to complete setup and download mail, click next"

I downloaded and installed and it works really fast!
Unfortunatly for me, it doesn't seem to work with Paragon LEng Lite :(
The RC5 does work with it and i need it for the hebrew support :confused:

I flash my tornado under vista x64....
For works RUU under vista you need install other driver for usb serial host. (before install, enter in bootloader and connect cable).
On vista x64 before install driver you need also install test certificate, and switch-on testsigning mode, then reboot computer. I attached drivers with my certificate for x64 in post...

It works gr8 on my sp5m, but longvoldown is still equivalent to Alt+longvoldown so works only when fakecursor is activated as in RC5. I am still couldnot figure out how to play this Solitaire game with or without activating fakecursor, if you ported it from a WM standard ROM it will be fine.

One funny thing happened to me. After installing my favorite app loads and a soft reset. I always got blank screen after screen timeout. It takes a full day to figure out the culprit. I got it now after activating "Tornado LowLight" I forgot to deactivate it. I just started it again and close the app normally and problem is solved:p

I've got 2 issues with this rom:
1) for some reason the T-Mobile SDA music buttons are not working, even if i specifically try to set them up in the "Buttons" option under settings
2) I cannot install the Paragon LEng Hebrew Lite, it works with RC5 but with RC7 (even after applying the fixpack) the OS simply gets stuck at boot up screen :(

Installed the new updated ROM. It is working very much fine. Most text fields which was taking only numeric are resolved. ROM is quite stable and fast.

This ROM is definitely better from RC5, but i have a problem, when backlight of screen turn off and on again screen seems not refresh, so shows old screen before backlight turn off.

Thank you for the reply. I think you are right, I have change the display driver for screen rotate app. But this app is very handy for me, in explorer long filename can be fully view in landscape mode, etc.
So, kindly suggest anything like some change in registry value or some patches to resolve the problem.

This is a great ROM! I just bought a second Cingular 2125 to test ROM's before I put them on my primary 2125 and this is the first Pro rom I have tried on it. I am very impressed. So far I haven't come across any critical issues, although I haven't installed any 3rd party apps besides spb menu. One thing though: does anyone else's green power light blink like it did with the smartphone roms? Mine doesn't and this just helps me know its on without having to touch it. Thanks.

Ignore my post prior. The green light is now blinking somehow. I am having problems with setting the hardware buttons to work. The top left one(the old CommManager) works just fine and the short volume works but I can't get any of the Long ones or the API's to work.

my memory fails me.. how do i get the functionailty on the comm button and the <-- button (next to home). plus i set celetask to AP1 (the tmobile button on my SDA) but it doesnt seem to work. i had the RC5 earlier and the Nitrogen rom too at some point and i remeber there were tonnes of ways to set buttons (with long and short options). how come on this RC7 rom not all hardware buttons are configurable?

This is the best Mobile OS I have ever worked on.
But I am facing a problem.
I am unable to enter my password in websites in PIE.
There is no problem in entering the username. In the password area, everything comes as asterisks. It even registers a joystick movement as an entry. Tried using VGAkeyboard and the other keyboard (onscreen) but that didn't work too.

I recently have a problem. Bluetooth connection is not working. In BT settings property of my PC shows activesync service only, and on my PC property of my tornado shows telephony service only. So, could not able to connect for file transfer, browsing, DUN, PAN, etc. I think in first time it all was working.

I got the actual solution... I was selecting Remote SIM Access on my mobile, so my PC shows only Telephony service..
When I deselect it all services are shown back..:p

I connect my pc to internet at home through gprs. when I use internet sharing with PAN or USB my phone shows the sysmbol E or G indicating GPRS connection and BatteryStatus counts the data transfer. But when I connect using DUN no E or G symbol and BatteryStatus also not counting any data transfer.
Mine is limited gprs connection so if this DUN actually overpass all data transfer monitering it will be a boon for me.
Anybody have any similar experience?

In normal WM 6.1 Professional is this:

but in this ROM WM 6.1 Pro RC7 Kamikadze on the one row are numbers and the symbol on the row you can choose the corresponding number on the keyboard as in ROM WM 6.1 Standard. How do this in another ROM WM 6.1 Professional?

somehow it is impossible to install a dutch(or other) T9, so this rom is useless to me..
after i intalled T9 also the ABC keyboard doenst work anymore

after removing the dutch T9 the old T9 is back

I have tried many other pro roms .. now 6.5 roms are flooding... but I am still attached to this rom.. this is very bad, very addictive..and cannot throw it away:D

This is very stable..fast and less flaws..:D
Human never satisfies ... I like few more storage space..:p
someone please free up some spaces on this rom.. may be you can remove 'Office' and '.netcf' that we can installed on storage card later..

Or help me to get kitchen for this rom, I will try it myself.

Even I do have the same problem. I guess it is because of the newer version of SPB shell which is 11MB size whereas the older one had around 7MB size. The free space in the ROM is only around 15MB which apparently is not enough.:(
