Hi!

I´ve same problem here. After installing t-mobile rom my wifi module and gps were de activated:mad::mad:.So i figured out similar problems with users. Is there somebody that had resolved the problem? I´m sooooo piss*d off!!!

One thing I figured out was that if i try to activate the wifi with activesync connected with my mobile the icon remains inactive. When i disconnect i can click the icon but nothing happens.

P.S- My battery is crazy too.it drains to 0 in half day!

BTW Sorry for my english:p

Please post:

1) How old your device is?

2) Check state of internal battery in your device:
remember current time in device, then turn it off, remove battery, wait some time (about 2-5 minutes), turn it on, and check the time. If time is same as before - look like internal battery is dead. Mine is dead.

3) Does IMEI are changed? Compare IMEI printed under main battery and displayed after dialing *#06#

Also I've found more people with wi-fi problem:

2 years. Don't know exactly. I bought it from a guy hoping he did a bad flash which wasn't the case.

Hmm, the above probely due A bad flash. I only flashed it with the same ROM.
But as you know it is not only the wifi problem. I also forgot to mention that after some time my screen turns white. I have to softreset to restore it to normal.

If I can't get it working I can still use the screen and the casing as spare.

Meanwhile I exchanged the battery, but nothin' changed.

Hello,

I have a similar problem: Wifi and bluetooth doesn't work and the battery drops in 10 -12 hours.

I have reflashed some differents ROM's, and now it is working under the last HTC ROM in Spanish, but the problem hasn't dissapeared.

I have checked what dan_ru suggest:

1) I don't know how old it is. I bougth it in eBay in December, thinking that it only has the touch screen broken, and when I received it I found all these other problems. I have replaced the touch screen and it is working now.

2) The internal battery seems to be dead (same time after 5 minutes)

3) The IMEI was changed when bought it. Now I've changed it to the one written under the battery, and it works (I can make phone calls). Now, when I dial *#06# the correct IMEI appears.

I hope somebody can find some fix to this problem.

perezurco

The reference of the internal battery I think that is this: XH414H-II06E.

I'm going to change it on my device.

As soon as I get the results of this change I will post them.

Same problem with wi-fi. Turned on and found the network first time after a hard reset. Disconected after a few seconds from it and now it doesn't turn on anymore. Seems that there are a lot of people out there that have the same problem. My other works just fine, and with the original ROM on it.

I have a HTC p3300!
Even i have the same problem as described by the video(sorry for my english).
But i think i know the problem.
I don't think that this is a software problem becouse i installed different roms
and the wifi problem was again.
My wifi was working, till the moment i took of the back cover (you can see uploaded pic)
So,i think that those metalic strips seen on the 2-nd pic don't have good contact after removing the caver. This caused the wifi problem.
I repeat that i didn't have wifi prob till i moved the cover,so i think that's the problem.
Something else. When i put pressure to those metalic strips the phone gets blocked and the screen gets white.I think that we have to repair that section or get a new cover.
This is my opinion.
PLEASE REPLY!!!

if you mean downloading via WiFi connection, so you should just use WeFi (http://www.wefi.com/download/wm/)

features WeFi :
- Automatic connection to the best spot
- Display of businesses (cafés, restaurants, etc.)
- Constant checks of your surroundings to provide you the best Wi-Fi on demand
- Disconnect GPRS upon successful internet Wi-Fi connection
- Launch favorite application upon successful internet Wi-Fi connection
- A comprehensive backend system that uses Wi-Fi data gathered by the entire community
