View Full Version : Totally Dead C600

I can't get my c600 to switch on at all. First of all it wouldn't turn on, but I got the green (or was it orange?) light when usb/power cable was plugged in. Now it does absolutely nothing when I try to turn it on. I wasn't doing a firmware update or anything at the time - previously it was working fine.
It is possible that the battery is dead, but would that stop the phone from switching on when a usb power cable is connected? Can anyone try their c600 with the battery removed, to see if it starts please?

My C600 without battery only runs in bootloader, phone does not start on only charger cable. Tried you start phone in bootloader and re-flash?

Press Camera button and connect USB Cable. Bootloader will start. But re-flash is hard without battery :/

No, I can't get into the bootloader. There's no green or orange power led when I plug into the USB. It shouldn't need reflashing as it was working for months after it was last flashed??
I have ordered a replacement battery to see if that will help bring it back to life.

Sounds like one or more buttons of your phone are stuck from dust/spill/fall...
Try opening the phone and cleaning it a little.
