Hi Folks,

Thus my company does not allow Mobile phones with a camera I want to dismount it.

Does anyone tried this before and can give me some hints?

Regards,
Daniel

No Problem, my Artemis works without problems with dismounted camera. You´ll need a Torx-Screwdriver (T6x60) and some kind of plastic gap opener. Get yourself the Artemis service manual (link in Wiki). My Artemis looks a bit different from the one in the manual. If you own the same one, you may find additional pictures that may help you dismountig the housing here:http://www.orbit-forum.de/xda_orbit/gehaeuse-t487.0.html;msg3779#msg3779 (its german, just look at the pictures ;) )

The camera is just glued to the board so just pull it off and close the housing again. The orbit works just normal, only if you start the camera application you'll get an error message.

I just recognized that your Austrian so you may find some additional info in german in my thread at the xda-Forum: http://www.orbit-forum.de/xda_orbit/geloest_kamera_ausbauen-t5917.0.html
