Oka!!! This took me a bit of time-- I've got time on my hands..

Seems a bit theoretical.. capacitance hasn't been worked out..?? Looking at this : http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f28/how-to-add-a-3-5mm-jack-to-the-stock-headset-6087/
Capacitance and resistance shouldn't be an issue for std. 3.5 earphones.

I believe that usb host functionalitites are available only @ bbot time, and in some iPaqs.. well, how exactly did that Jap do it :eek: ??
Power issues are a bit complex i see, i doubt supplying .5 A thru USB would be possible without an external driver.. So pray 1.1 compatibility can be achieved.. Can the drives from the ipaqs be extracted and incorporated into current HTC devices?? Notice:
