I bought my Samsung Omnia a few day ago and I am having some networking problems:
1) It connects rarely to my wireless network unless I provide an IP manually.
2) When I do set up an IP I was put in front of the situation of missing wi-fi button, no connections, no anything.:confused:
3) well I am connected as mentioned before and I have the following settings:
Settings->Connections->Browser Connection: Automatically detect settings;
Settings->Connections->Connections/ Advanced Tab Select Networks
Internet should connect using: My work network with Proxy Settings: This network connects to the Internet selected
Private network should connect using: My work netwok
When connectd to the PC through the USB cable I can surf the net. Opera browser works well, Internet explorer also, Y!Go works. The thing is I cannot convince my messaging to connect and dowload my Yahoo! mails. I get the following message:Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your e-mail acoount settings are correct.Then, try to download message again. My parlingo doesn't work neither. Log in parameters are incorrect which is not true. :confused:
What can be the problem?:mad:
I forgot to mention that I have installed also F-Secure mobile security, but I don't think this is the poroblem.
