Hi Hermes Users,

using hermes everyday is fun. It's not that full blown gadget anymore and a lot of new devices came up.
I know these devices offer a lot more features, but who really needs it....
What are you using the most?

Apart from the technical point of view, i'm not the guy for these very expensive gadgets (you'll have to take real care not to break them).
So i think i will stick to this device some time...

The hermes is at least a solid hardware device.
As a result nearly everything could be fixed (apart from no GSM errors :o)
The community out here had found out quite everything. If you really break it you've been to careless!
Most of the cracks have gone, but maybe there's some immortality in this tiny little toy that will keep discussion alive.

So what do you think?

I personally think that the Hermes (8525 in my case) is quite the device considering that these new devices do the same things that this device still can do..very well rounded device in my book and will be around for a while, or maybe upgraded to a Kaiser. :D

Unfortunately no chance to upgrade, because of multi chip package...

Yes a shame... I did look into that as well but discovered it would not work. If it had 128MB, it would be perfect for me. I just barely get by with the 64MB! I also wish battery technology would be better than what it is right now so I didn't have to carry 2 spares with me (I use data access a lot!).... but I can't complain as it is on par with my friends iPhone. At least we can swap out the battery! :)
