C# prevent Idle Sleep

Hello, anyone have any information on how to keep the phone from sleep in C#? i would like it to just turn the backlight off but never hit sleep

sounds like the type of thing you cant do with .net directly but
require an unmanaged call to a sys dll to do

can you go into anymore detail on this? i'm really trying to accomplish sorta like wmwifirouter prevents from sleep, or gmaps when navigating and stuff
