I have a problem with my Touch HD running VPN connections to my workplace. I'm using the same settings as on the laptop - as far as I can get that is with WM 6.1
The type is PPTP and there are some things which differ in the options for the setup, for instance I can't set the option for "require seure encryption". If I disable this in the laptop version (Vista or XP) I get the same issue.
I have tried WiFi and 3g and same effect, so it's not an APN issue. I have setup exceptions on the domain to kick in but to no avail. It just won't connect.
I have tried a free VPN server to test and that works fine. What can I do about it? I don't think I can change the way the server is set up.
Is there anything I can do on my handset??
