I got the WMP Touch skin from patr!k's (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344533) list, and I've used it happily for a while.

Today I was tinkering in WMP's settings, and I happened to load the skin page. It took a while, so I went on to other pages, but unbeknownst to me, it had loaded the WMP default skin. So when I hit OK to save the settings, it saved teh WMP default skin.

So I uninstalled the HTC WMP Touch Skin program and reinstalled it. No change. Uninstalled it, reset the phone, installed it. No change. Other combinations of installations and resets, and nothing.

I even extracted the .cab on my computer to see if I could manually move the skin in, unfortunately the .cab builds the skin during installation.

So now in landscape mode, the HTC skin works fine. In Portrait mode, the default WMP skin appears.

Any way to revert to the HTC WMP Touch Skin? Anybody happen to have the .skn file I could just pull in? Strangely enough, going to WMP Options > Skins doesn't even show the HTC skin.

Any suggestions?

Did you go to the skin tab and let it search for skins? (You have to do this while in portrait mode)

I did it once, but I just let it do it again. It will only show the default WMP skin, and the next/previous buttons are still greyed out. I can't click on them to advance it either way. I cannot select any other skin.
