Help me with my laptop choice please

so im no sure which one to get the

ASUS N80 Series N80Vn-X1 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220389)

or the

MSI GX620-001US (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152086)

im pretty sure its the msi but i just need help choosing im a gamer for sure. i might install ubuntu on it but idk that doesnt really matter i dont think. thanks for your help guys.

Ok so since i havent got an answer im just going to ask a question that might be easier to look at.

Should i get the nvidia 9600m gt(it has 512 of ddr3) with the p8400(2.26ghz with 45nm architecture)

or

the nvidia 9650m gt(with 1gb of ddr2) and the t5800(2.0ghz with 65nm architecture)

Could you tell me which gfx card is better? because i think the top one is better in combo but i also might buy a better processor later..

yea i looked at that the thing is it says either are ddr2 or 3 but in the laptops im looking at the 9650 its ddr2 and the 9600 its ddr3. also the 9650 has a gig and the other has 512. so idk which one is the faster i mean im probably going to end up getting the msi but id just like to know if the 9600 setup would out perform the 9650.

I know it must be too late now, but i would choose the first laptop because of its much better cpu.
