Please forgive me if this is inappropriate or the wrong forum.

I have searched low and high for two simple wm5 today plugins. But have had no luck yet. Seems I can find everthing except for something to automatically scratch my back when it itches. I didnt think it would be hard to find two simple controls.

The first plugin I would like on my phone is a simple slider to control the backlight. MVBklight is near perfect except it does not resize itself when switching screen modes. And I've never been a big fan of skins, that allways makes things seem bloated. It would also be nice if by tapping the icon on the left it would cycle through preset screen brightness levels and optionally turn the screen off.

The second plugin I have looked for is a simple volume slider. SoundToday does do the job, but is rather lacking in the interface department. There is no visual display of what the plugin is for. It is sometimes hard to tell what is what on my crowded today screen, a simple icon would be nice. Ideally that icon would cycle between preset volumes/mute/vibrate.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked at this thread for your backlight request:

Yes ... I did mention MVBklight in my original post.
Now if there was a similar plugin for the volume.

Oops...sorry. My bad. :o You know....one of the primary reasons why you won't fine any standalone plug-in for these two would be because they are bundled up with many other applications as standard features (ex: SPB pocket plus (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/download.html?en)). I guess that meant no ones found the need to request for a standalone plug-in, atleast until now that is. Imma keep looking for something you can use. Will let you know if I find something worthwhile.
