I bought my Fuze about a month ago after reading just about every review on it and choosing it over the Samsung Epix, Blackberry Bold, and iPhone. Top selling points were the small footprint (best pocket fit) and great keyboard.
Since then, I would say that I've been pretty obsessed with understanding my Fuze and maximizing its utility.
Though definitely not a techhead, I do love technology and am pretty handy with my PC and notebook. But I was a bit at a loss with understanding some of the finer points of configuring and tweaking my Fuze (until I realized that it's not really a cellphone or even a smartphone, so much as a full-fledged PC in my pocket). Gosh, I didn't even know how cabs worked.
It's pretty easy to be intimidated by the technology, but I found that with some patience and just plain experimentation, I was able to develop a pretty good working knowledge of the Fuze.
Over the last few weeks, I have devoted much of my working days (thankfully I work for myself) to learning everything I can about the Fuze. So from newbie to newbie, I wanted to share my list of what I consider to be essential functional and cosmetic tweaks and apps for the Fuze. I examined and, in some cases, tried other recommended tweaks and apps, but didn't find them to my liking, for example, SPB Mobile Shell (some decisions are entirely personal).
Thanks to the great minds at fuzemobility.com, wmexperts.com, and especially xda-developers.com (and their forums) for making all these available and for help in figuring how to install and run them.

A final wish: Someone create a simple process, in the form of a one-click cab, for remapping the PTT button (I find the one that is offered a bit confusing and definitely intimidating).
