Please HELP Usb Connection Problem HTC3300

Hello techies,
I am using a HTC p3300.
I found it really gr8 PDA...but one problem is suckin up to me.
From last few days, I am unable to connect it to the computer via USB cable.
The phone does charging while connected to the computer but does not recognize the connection to the computer.
I tried changing the cable, usb ports, laptop, everything.....but in vain.

Is there some problem with my usb port or some software issues....please help me out with this.......

on device monager delete "microsoft windows Mobile remote adapter" the unplug the device and plug it back in.... It should reinstall it and active sync should pick it up.

Thanks for the help....but I am unable to fins the said device in the device manager.

I really want to upgrade my ROM, plz help me out
