I am going to Bonaire for a vacation, and Sprint USA tells me the device will not work there, neither for voice nor for data roaming. I am wondering if this is a limitation of the device or I can change some undocumented settings or unlock it or whatever in order to make it work.
Sprint web site shows that Bonaire does have CDMA coverage, but they were not clear on why exactly this CDMA device is not going to work.
I guess I can check emails by wi-fi at the hotel, but I wanted to have the voice and data available anywhere in cases of emergencies.
