Phone incredibly slow now

Hey all - not sure if this is the right place for this post but I'm having some serious issues with my phone. I have DCD's 3.2.0 rom and r 3.42.02 . All has been well for some months now..haven't changed or installed a thing. No matter how many resets I do after a few minutes, my phone starts hanging/locking up. It's odd..it'll work fine for texting etc, but then when I go to the phone function and say want to scroll through call history, it just hangs and takes forever..soft reset makes it fine for a few mins then it slows again...any ideas!?

How much free space does your phone have right now? Try and move any extra files, photos, media onto your storage card. Have you tried deleting all your temp files and clearing out your browser history etc. Try not to have a very loaded today screen. Those can slow your phones down considerably. Also make sure you close (tap and hold x on most WM phones) all programs when not running them.

It sounds like the call log database is slowing down your device. You can back up the various WinMo databases with dotFred's PIM Backup then erase them from your phone. You might find it faster.
