screen protector?

has anyone tried/had any problems with using clear packing tape as a screen protector?

I would say the main problem is it wouldn't hold up well to scratches its not very durable then you got to think are there any adhesive removers that wont ruin your screen yeah it may work but I think it would be a very big mistake

I found this to be very informative and helped me make a choice in what to buy. Price does not always go hand in hand with quality as one would expect. I bought the Photodon Crystal Clear product. They do not have a custom cuts for the HTC Touch Vogue/Elf/etc but I ordered (4) 2.0625 x 2.875 square cut sheets which I can then trim up a bit to fit the screen. Comes with microfiber cleaning cloth at a cost of $15 shipped... enough to do 4 phones.

I like to use the universal writeon protectors sure you got to trim them down but there cheap and durable and have a nice smooth feel to them and they dont tend to interfer with the touch any. Oh you can find them just about at any radio shack.
