lets try to make this a good rom
everything I've tried seams to work in this rom but I need you to test if it's ok

whats in this rom:

press is maped to AltTab to switch between opend apps
press+hold is mapped to CloseAll well yes it closes all opend apps

Question
I'm new to Polaris only had the device for 4 days In my rom the battey icon in the taskbar does not change back after unpluging usb cable
How can I solve this as I've never seen this before in any of my devices?

Updates for next version
After some reading and also what I've expirianced during cooking I've desided only to use offical builds and not leaked beta versions.

the next beta will be CE OS 5.2.20764(build 20764.1.4.3) For Polaris, Nike and Kaiser maybe I'll make one for Prophet and Wizard too

1. no buttons when inputting the pincode at startup fixed in beta 2
2. Youtube not playing video (work for me I have radio 1.59.44.02) might solve the problem by changeing radio?

To get default conacts back
open advanced task in setting/system

What is the free ram just after reboot of the phone?

And I would like to understand something: some roms, has a global available ram of 84 MB (like the pdaviet, the c_shekhar, the M-amin...) and some others have 100 Mb.
I'm not speaking about the free rom after boot but the global available ram.
Who can explain me this diffrence? Where are going the 16 MB diffrence?

i tried it for a while...

manila slider seems a little "laggy" after soft reset but then it seems to go better after 2-3 minutes
i have the same problem of another release of chavonbravo: youtube app doesn't play video
i can search but when it says connecting it returns me the "error cannot play this video"
(tried reinstalling over another version , the one withthe options for video quality but no success)
but i installed opera and flash lite 3.1 and i can play youtube videos from the browser...

can i suggest a couple of things?
-add advanced config or change the layout of programs and settings to 4 columns
-opera for me is much better than opera mini and seems also faster opening pages
-add of wm5torage and psshutxp (extra small but useful)
-as u choose a black theme (i love it) for manila also remove from registry the custom blue background for startmenu and task manager to have a default black one.

for the rest it's a very good work, i finally found someone that gives order to the programs menu with nice folders (as i do manually everytime :) )

yeah cool rom, also have the slow manilla bug but my youtube is working fine!, only i have a weird bug,
when i start up and in in the enter pin screen, no buttons are displayed.
i can enter it but thats because i know where the buttons should be.. any ideas how i can get my buttons back?

Yes it's working and you can add towns not default suported.

I will upload a beta 2 later tonight I just got back home and will start uploading in a minute

Downloaded and installed. So far all seems to be working. :)
Experienced some delay in response to key or screen buttons, after a hard reset everything works nicely.
3G/GPRS dataconnection terminates nicely when connected via USB cable.
Tomtom GPS works fine. About 40 sec first time to find a position after that 20-25 sec.

One small 'bug' the battery/charge indicator doesn't show the correct status. Charging but no charging symbol or charging symbol while running on battery!

Anybody having the same experience or just me?

For the rest a very nice and 'clean' rom.

With this camera version Auto-focus can't work! Gullum has to apply the old version!

What about the memory lag? Is it as bad as the other 20931 builds?

hi Thanks for this nice rom, can you please remove the "I CONTACTS" it's very disturbing application and it doesn't support multilang.
Is there a way to deactivate it ? and work with the regular contact mode ?

So I'm in my series of rom test to decide the polaris rom. I tested this Beta2 rom. So very nice rom. Good speed. And good amount of free ram.

So some little remarks:
1- The french full qwerty keybord caracters are missing. So the keybord was lank. I had to add gullum french keybord caracters to make it work.
2- The menu are written in very large caracteres. I don't like that and don't know how to change the size.
3- The camera software is probably not the one for polaris because I don't have the autofocus of polaris camera.

I tested this rom with the 1.59.44.02 radio.

For the camera fix you have just to install polaris camera cab.
For the large caracters, don't know.

1) The Dutch Language isn't working. Also when I install the package from the above link.

2) When hitting the power button on the device I quickly see the screen then it turns off again. Seems to work the second time.

Advance Config v3.3 is install as part of the ROM.
Goto User Interface:
The Popup menu font size is the one which is changed, default 800 --> 1400.
I changed this size to 1200.

I've also noticed the battery indicator doesn't work properly, is there a cab fix for this? Mine is showing fully charged when I know it isn't. Clicking on it and then on the power option button gives a more accurate reading but I'd like to be able to see at a glance if possible how much power is left.
