problem with windows live messenger

I'm trying to connect to windows live messenger on my HTC DOAMOND.

I'm using Gmail Account and i can't make it.(can't connect)

are there any problems with the program?

well you cannot connect to gmail via wlmessebger use octrotalk for this

erm i reflash my diamond...and it not got msn messenger or live...any help pls? like a download link thnx :) ive tried searching 4 it but cnt find it..
