P3300 dead?

Hey guys, I'm new here, searched the forum, but couldn't find anything helpful (tried everything).
I just got a dead(?) P3300.

When I try to turn it on I get the HTC logo and the following:

IPL 1.14.0001
SPL 1.14.0000
GSM 02.67.90

OS 1.14.0.0

From what the guy that gave it to me told me, it just stopped working all of a sudden.

ActiveSync installs the drivers for it, but it doesn't detect it (:s) Anyways, is there any way I could repair this thing?
