No ActiveSynch / USB Connectivity

Morning,

Currently running an Orange branded SPV m700 which has been fairly trouble free since I got it over a year ago.

However recently I've been unable to connect it to *any* PC i use.

I used activesynch on my home machine (using one USB cable) successfully, and this has packed up, and also connect it to my work machine (using a different USB cable) successfully to use the mymobile graphical interface - this now doesn't work either.

I would also add that whilst the device successfully charges via USB, neither machine "chirps" when the device is connected. - for this point alone I'm not convinced it's simply a case that the USB port itself has been damaged.

Any advices would be greatly appreciated

just read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=421164 and followed the advice at the bottom.
Although the option was already checked, I unchecked it - exited, then went back in and re-checked it.

Plugged in and we're cooking with gas once again! :)
