Turn WiFi on by default?

I've upgraded to a G1 as my main phone, but I still keep the Excalibur around and use it on WiFi. My problem is that I have to go into the menu and turn on WiFi every single time I turn the phone on. Is there a way to set it so that WiFi is just always on when the phone turns on?
