havent seen any on the phone its self ...but i use wavepad on my pc to cut it my songs up then just move the file to the phone

You can try HTC Diamond Mp3 Trimmer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396908). Works like a charm!

the audio manager application has one built into it, it even lets you trim the song for watever part you want.
