TotalCommander ???

for those that are thinking of installing a program called "TotalCommander" I would think twice about it! it will take control of your device mem resources and you will notice a measurable decrease in speed after installing this program, even if you install it on your SD card. I recommend against it.

Thanks for the warning. I am using TC on two devices without any decrease in speed. Could you be more specific, how did you notice it, how would TC do this please?

I too have used TotalCommander for my last few devices and have never seen speed or mem resource issues. I would also like to know specifics on what you see and compare it to my device and also see if others are seeing the same issues. I thought it was an very good software.

Same here, I've used it for years and never had any issue with it...

I think almost every member of the Kaiser community here on XDA Dev uses total Commander without the slightest decrease in performance.

Sakajati cooked it into his Hyperdragon roms with no ill effects that I can see. The rom is very fast.

I've been using TC for quite a while now, both on kaiser and Jade. I don't seem to experience any decrease in speed nor performance whatsoever. :confused:
