Been given a Kaiser by a friend, he claims it works fine, but its without battery.
I'm right in thinking that even with mains power, the device won't start up without a battery? Wanting to confirm before I go ahead and pick up a battery (L8Shop have the 2600mAh extended for about £13!). Although if the phone won't startup, its not a big loss ....
