Guys I have a camera problem

I was holding my phone's camera up to my computer screen and some green strips came up on it. Now my camera won't work. I take pictures of something and all I get get is a bunch of lines. This super sucks! Any help? Do you think it's a hardware problem?

Yeah I did. I think it might be time for me to get a new phone anyway but I'm really low on cash. All my money goes to school.
