If you are a new customer to AT&T I suggest for you to buy it online with Amazon which has free 2 day shipping and with 2 year contract goes for about 175 (150 after rebate). I did this to obtain my fuze and I was very pleased with how smoothly I was able to save soo much money (Sales Rep at AT&T wanted 300).:p

Not too much you can do locked into a contract like that, esp if you aren't willing to break into a new seperate contract with the full data plan, I had to buy mine new from ebay for $400. I sold my Tilt for $255 and that made up for most of it.
(Viva la $15 Unlimited Media.net!)
I am not eligable for an upgrade until next December and with HTC releasing a new device of my style (Wizard, TyTN, TyTN II...touch screen with slide out keyboard) usually halfway through the year and then finally getting to the US near the end of the year, that should work out just fine.
I will just have to sell off my Fuze by then, so if you are still looking to buy one for $300 by next December... hit me up. :)

When I bought mine about a week ago, Amazon had up an option for existing AT&T customers. Not sure whether the offer was the same, because as a new customer I didn't follow the link, but it might be worth giving the Fuze page on Amazon a look and seeing what it says...

I was only 11 months into my 2 year contract with my discounted Tilt. if you ask real nice most store managers can still sell you a Fuze at the discount (299??). they can punch in an exception on your account right at the store. I got my Fuze for that price , but did have to extend back to 24 months under contract again. If one store wont do it, try another. You will come across a store with a manager that will do it.

I just odered it for $150 with a $150 mail in rebate from htc and LetsTalk.com. It came with a 2 yr contract with At&t. I went to http://www.htc.com/us/where_to_buy.aspx and selected usa then HTC Online Store. I then selected HTC FUZE™ (AT&T). FREE Touch pro!

Was that a new plan or an upgrade/extension? I went to the site and it does appear to be for either but when I went to letstalk.com directly the deal was only being offered for new service and upgrades were at $249. What was your experience? Thank you.
